Easter Dress (that I'm finally posting)

I know I said in my last post I would reveal my Easter outfit on Easter when I debuted it, but you know, life. Anyway, without further to do, here it is (was 😉):

(Please excuse the unpacked mess).

We had come to the end of our shopping trip in Dillard's, and this dress caught my eye all the way from the shoe section. I haven't always worn pastels for Easter, but I feel like I always want to, given that it generally marks the advent of spring. As I mentioned in my last post, we were seeing a lot of 70's-inspired fashion on the racks that day. I love that this dress combines both the peasant style and mild psychedelic pattern of the 70's, but with the pastel colors of the '80's. When I tried it on, I knew it was the one for sure. Being tall, I sometimes struggle to find a dress with a waist that will hit at the right spot. This one did! And the lilac-colored flats I had bought earlier at Macy's just so happened to go with it perfectly! I also paired it with a pair of my new pink hoops from francesca's, a white bag with pearl details I got at a boutique in Galveston, and my gold bracelets.

So glad to have found a winner in this dress! I also wore it for Mother's Day brunch, and look forward to revisiting this beauty in my closet again and again!
